In the name of God amen I Richard MacYlria sick in body, whole in mynd & of -----[torn] and pfect memorie praised be God doe make this my will & testamt -----[torn] mannr & fforme ffollowing:

Ffirst I bequeath my soule to God & my bodie to Christian buriall

Item: I bequeath to the poore a fferlet malt, a ffirlett wheat, a ffirlett oatte meale, 1 mutton & the rest at the discretion of my exec

Item: left to his daughter Christian a horse and a cow

Item: left to the minister Sr Robert Parre a hogge sheepe

Item: he bequeathed all the rest of his goods moveable & unmoveable unto his children Tho:, Wm: and Bahie whome alsoe he ordained his lawfull exec

Probatum est et solvit vjd

Invent: before May next sub pena

Testes: Ro: Parre xxs ad usum Domi: Jurat

Tho: Corlett & his wife Imp: betwixt horses & mayres 712 kine 1 heffer In sheep & muttons xltye:

The execut at lawfull yeares have bond them selves in Double valew ad usum Domi: to secure the office

NOTES

  1. Buried 10th December 1627, Michael (Mclera)
  2. Daughter Christian might be from his first marriage, while Thomas, William & Bahie might be from a second marriage
  3. No birth records for any of the children
  4. Land records have a RIc Mc gilrea on Balycrynan Moar quarterland, with a son Thomas who takes over tenancy in mid-1620s which MIGHT be this Richard
